At the NCGP 2019 three award ceremonies will be held during the congress.
The Friederichs Nordic Prize will be announced Tuesday June 18 at 9.15-9.30
Every second year, the Nordic Prize is awarded to a researcher of general practice, who has produced high quality research in General Practice and who is well known internationally. The prize is awarded as an appreciation of a high level of general practice research. It is an ongoing tradition that the Friederichs Nordic Prize is announced at the NCGP congresses.
After a short break the Friederichs Nordic Prize symposium will be held from 9.45-10.00
The SJPHC Best paper of the year 2017 and 2018 will be announced Wednesday June 19 at 9.15-9.30
The Scandinavian Journal of Primary Health Care (SJPHC) publishes original peer-reviewed research as well as editorials, discussion papers and reviews on topics related to general practice and primary care in order to facilitate a continuous professional development in family medicine. It is a tradition that the Paper of the Year from the two past years are presented at the NCGP congresses.
After a short break there will be held oral presentations by award winners of the SJPHC best paper of the Year 2017 and 2018 from 9.45-10.15
People’s Choice Poster Award will be announced Wednesday June 19 at the gala dinner
Tuesday and Wednesday from 11.10 to 11.40 and from 13.30 to 14.00 there will be Poster walks. At the NCGP 2019 a total of 67 participants are presenting posters with the purpose of inspiring and educating their fellow colleagues. All participants will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite poster by filling out the voting slip that is handed out at registration for the congress. Filled out voting slips can be put in the ballot box in the poster area.
The winner of the People’s Choice Poster Award will be announced Wednesday evening at the gala dinner, therefore all poster authors are encouraged to participate at the gala dinner.
