Name badges will be provided to participants during registration and will be required for admission to all Congress events.
Normal banking hours are from 10:00 to 16:00 hrs. Monday to Friday. On Thursday banking hours are extended to 18:00 hrs. There are ATMs usually located in connection with a bank branch, which accept a variety of international credit cards. The cards accepted are indicated on the dispenser.
The currency in Denmark is Danish Kroner (DKK). One krone is divided into 100 Øre. 1 Euro is approx. 7.5 DKK. Most shops and restaurants accept Euro, but at a higher rate. Credit cards are widely accepted – also in taxis.
The Organisers reserve the right to adjust or change the programme as necessary.
TRAVEL PAS: Unlimited transportation by bus or metro
24 or 72 hours of unlimited travelling with all public transportation in the Northern region of Denmark. The travel pass can be purchased at www.NordjyllandsTrafikselskab.dk and the ticket will be a text message.
Public transportation: One-way tickets can be bought on board the busses with Danish currency. There are a couple of bus lines from the airport to both the Congress Center and Musikkens Hus with departures every 15-20 minutes. They require a small amount of additional walking.

Taxis and minibuses: A Taxi from either the Congress center or the ceremony venue to the airport costs around 200 DKK and can be arranged on the following phone number: +45 98 10 10 10
Shuttle busses: Thursday after the closing ceremony there will be a shuttlebus from the congress venue to the airport at 13:20 and 13:55. There will be a limited number of seats.
The weather in Denmark in June is normally very pleasant, usually sunny. However, on occasion an umbrella may be useful. Daytime average temperature is around 18°C, evening temperature around 10°C. For more information please see: www.dmi.dk

Letter of Invitation
The congress organisation will be pleased to send a formal letter of invitation to delegates requesting an invitation letter for visa purposes. It is understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates to raise funds or to obtain a visa. This does not imply a commitment from the congress to provide any financial support.
Liability and Insurance
Neither the Organisers nor the Congress Secretariat will assume any responsibility whatsoever for damage or injury to persons or property during the Conference. Participants are recommended to arrange for their personal travel and health insurance.
All Participants are kindly requested to report any lost or unattended items immediately to the Congress staff. In the event that you lose anything during the Congress, please enquire at the Congress Registration Desk, where any lost property will be held.
Official Congress Language
The working language of the Congress is English.
The shops in Aalborg are open from 09:30/10:00 to 18:00/19:00 hrs. Monday through Thursday and 09:30/10:00 to 20:00 on Friday and 09:00 to 17:00 on Saturday.
Smoking is banned in all indoor public places and restaurants in Aalborg. The Congress is a smoke-free event and smoking is not permitted at the congress center.
Tipping in taxis and restaurants in Denmark is not expected but is appreciated.
The entry formalities for the Kingdom of Denmark vary according to the country of origin. Congress delegates are asked to address enquiries about entry and vaccination requirements to the travel agent or to the local Royal Danish Embassy / Consulate / Representation in the home country.
